Emotional Wellness
Understanding Our Thoughts and Feelings
Emotional Wellness is an awareness and acceptance of our feelings. We are willing to accept challenges, take some risks and acknowledge that all the moments of our day are opportunities for personal growth and development.
Love, happiness, optimism and hope creates good health.
Fear, guilt, jealousy and anger produce illness and disease. The choice in life is ours...
Transforming Anger A Path to Inner Peace
We Choose to live our life in either love or fear. Obviously, we prefer love over fear, so why don’t we experience this all the time? Maybe it’s just a matter of perception.
For Example, picture two people on a roller coaster ride. One person feels exhilaration; the other person is scared to death. What’s the difference? It’s all about our attitude or perception.
I’m reminded of a client that tells me, “I always expect something bad to happen.” How do you think this will affect the immune system, digestion, breathing, heart rate and relationships?
| How Do You Define Love and Fear?
Love is making a connection with someone or something. Many of my spiritual teachers have described love as, ‘bringing about unity, in the illusionary world of separation.’ We can love a person, book, place or event. Without love, how can we achieve emotional wellness?
Fear is the opposite of Love. But not all fear is harmful. In fact, natural fear is essential to warn us of danger. This fight or flight syndrome only lasts as long as the danger is present.
Chronic Fear is what we need to eliminate from our lives. Worry, anxiety and depression will prevent us from achieving emotional wellness. |
Ask Yourself an Important Question...
How Do You Feel Most of the Time?
If you are feeling nervous, angry or depressed then make every effort to replace them with calm, forgiving, happy thoughts and feelings.
Your health will improve dramatically by eliminating (via a change in perception) any and all harmful thoughts and feeling about yourself or others.
Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change.
Did You Know that you can change your emotions with a single thought. It all starts in your mind...

In Summary
I Know we are here to enjoy life. Don't allow any situation to get you down. Look at every event or circumstance in your life as an opportunity for personal growth and development.
Take Time, during the day, to appreciate something in your life. Make time to eat well and exercise. Remind yourself that life is worth living, not dying.
